I would also like to add that the efi directory must exist in your home directory for this to work. If you get a directory or file does not exist sort of error then either create the directory or change the file to be written path.

i followed you instructions exactly the same but i got an error can not find chip.

i have got

1. Ipad adapter 2.4a, 12w
2. FLASHROM folder at home directories.
3. Approximately 10cm long for all cables.
4. Easy flash clip.

You need to take pictures and document here your exact setup with as much detail as possible for is to try and diagnose this.
