Hi Ghost
Once again thanks for your help on this one as suggested i have opened a new topic in the forum
I am really keen to understand where i went wrong as i followed your tutorial which i must say is one of the best i have seen to the letter.
I took 5 reads of the original just to be extra safe and check the hash and they all match.
I used one of the online firmware dumps and just changed the serial number to mine as suggested and wrote back successfully.
When i try to boot the fan attempts to spin but nothing more i assum the term Bricked would apply.
I also wrote the old dumps dumps back but still just the fan attempts to spin nothing more.
Any advice would be appreciated and i have attached the 3 of the dumps as suggested.
Thanks in advance
R

Your attached dump seem correct but with password.
I suggest to make the following:
1. Erase the flash chip with flashrom, anyways you have a corrupted firmware on chip, make sure that chip is empty it should be FF-filled.
2. Write back your backup firmware and if machine will boot keep this file as rescue image.
3. Post here your working image and we'll make a clean one for you. I'll write how to flash password area only.
Thanks for all your help and advice so far. apologies i have only just responded i was expecting an email when a reply happend but i didnt check my junk.
School boy error!
I have ordered another Panoma clip as the one i have is a bit temperamental so will erase and write back ghosts one as soon as it arrive and let you all know the outcome.
The dump i used to flash was (2554 - 13 MBP 2012 i5 2.5) in the database and i just replaced the Model Number with my serial it flash successfully but bricked my machine.
I obviously did something wrong but cannot work out what i did wrong.
Let me know if you need any further information on which dump it was etc.
I will hopefully be able to test in the next couple of days.
I just go my new soca clip today and put it to the test.
I erased the current flash and the flashed back the one ghost sent over with success. however I still have a bricked mac fan attempts to spin and then nothing.
Any other ideas or shall i start getting it ready for the skip
I talked with him in chat. He said that he can't read a chip... Perhaps his chip was harmed.
Another thing, I did file checking... Seem that CPWKQAVTDTY3.bin in the repository corrupted... SVS Area not detected.
I think if this file will be written into the flash, then machine will fail to boot. And as we know Intel ME co-processor powered even then MacBook will be turned off, so if a broken code will be loaded into it, then it may hangs and battery disconnection will be necessary to reset it... This is just my guessing, I don't know what happened in reality...

Try to pull the battery and dissipate any electricity by holding the power button as you turn it on. I have had this happen to me, I lied. It has been a long time and usually with MBA's. after that, connect the battery and hold the power button until the fans start then stop. Then let go and press it again until you here a chime. I feel confident if the flash verified the chip is fine. Give this a shot and chat me if you need help.
Did you pull the battery and THEN hold the power button? And then plug it back up and hold it again. Multiple times of this should allow it to boot. If not then maybe me or token.paul can remote in to support you. Send us a dump that you have so we can analyze it for integrity.
