Same EMC, different processor speed

I will be getting what was an EFI locked 2015 MacBook. I believe it is a 1.1 processor. I see in the downloads, that it has the 1.2 clean dump. All are EMC 2746. Can I use the 1.2 dump on a 1.1 machine? I know there were separate dumps for say an i5 and i7 2011 MacBook Pro....

The story behind the machine was a guy, presumably someone who found (see stole) tried to flash the EFI, but was unsuccessful and is selling it, bricked. I'd like to try and use a clean dump from here, to replace whatever they did, and hopefully it'll fix it. I don't know yet what Processor it is, so maybe I'll luck out and it'll be a 1.2 processor...

What do you think? The processor identification is independent of the programmed SPROM, correct?

My guess is you'll find it's a 1.2.

Otherwise, buy another one, copy the EFI and sell both.
