I hooked my destroyer lite up, let it do it's dance, and one sloooooow green blink later, I thought I'd be good...
But nope
I have the abilities to pull a firmware and clean it, or upload it for cleaning, or even making sure I have backup (or 4, BE SAFE KIDS!!!).
I can't find any info on what's being used for firmware reading right now (which I would have hoped would have been here?) - if ya'll can help me help you figure out why the destroyer lite is not working on this, I'll do whatever I have to in order to facilitate this!
Thank you so very much in advance!
EDIT:
Here's what I've done with it that has worked perfectly, using a Raspberry Pi (model A) with 8cm cables connecting the SPI header <=> spi on the pi.
NOTE: must put in spispeed, tested slow (500) through fast (30000) with the same reads, writes worked just as well!
READ:
sudo flashrom -p linux_spi:dev=/dev/spidev0.0,spispeed=30000 -r read1.bin
sudo flashrom -p linux_spi:dev=/dev/spidev0.0,spispeed=30000 -r read2.bin
sudo flashrom -p linux_spi:dev=/dev/spidev0.0,spispeed=30000 -r read3.bin
sudo flashrom -p linux_spi:dev=/dev/spidev0.0,spispeed=30000 -r read4.bin
sudo flashrom -p linux_spi:dev=/dev/spidev0.0,spispeed=30000 -r read5.bin
VERIFY:
md5sum read1.bin
md5sum read2.bin
md5sum read3.bin
md5sum read4.bin
md5sum read5.bin
ERASE:
sudo flashrom -E -V -p linux_spi:dev=/dev/spidev0.0,spispeed=30000
*do a little wipe thing
*
WRITE:
sudo flashrom -w wiped1.bin -V -p linux_spi:dev=/dev/spidev0.0,spispeed=30000
I still have the ability to help with whatever is wanted to get the destroyer lite working on these!
