EfIDL on SOIC chip on 2012 Macbook Air

Hello all, I checked the board schematic for the 2012 Macbook Air 820-3209-A and it has a U6100/SOIC chip on the back. Is it possible to reset the EFI lock from that chip if I can't do it from the other attchment? I have the Pomona clip and have done multiple 2012 15" and 13" pros but have yet to do an Air. The Air goes straight to a sold red light when I attach the v4.2 clip.

Strangest thing trying to reset this one. Had to make sure it was shut down with the power button. Plugged in the EFIDL and wait until the light went out completely, unplugged it and the light went blue, plugged it back in and got the slow blinking green, PRAM reset and it booted right up to reload the OS.
