A1708 Late2016 13" mbp 2978

Ok, so with my pi and 2015 clip from this group I was able to detect the chip no problem w25q64.v
Read the chip a few times and dumps were good.
Deleted $SVS region and edited serial.
Erase with no issues.
Write with no issues and verification was successful.

I now get backlight on LCD when powering on but nothing else. No fan spin up or chime etc, it just stays in this state until I power off.
I have reflashed a few times and everything is fine but same thing. Clearing pram on boot causes it to reboot but still no chime or anything other than backlight.

Has anyone done one of these or know what my issue might be?

So turns out there is no issue. Just need to boot recovery or from installer USB.
Boots to recovery menu no problem and I'm creating a new USB installer now to do fresh install, so all appears well.
