A1398 2015 serial number was created by Aw3sum
I've got a used 2015 a1398 that has MDM profile but is not locked. I know I can write a new serial# to it pretty easily so MDM is not an issue. I have another dead logic board from a 2015 a1398 but I don't see the serial # on the logic board. Anyway I can pull/read a serial # from a dead board?

You can get the serial from it's BIOS dump
