Again, if you are not FF FF out everything that follows the 1st $SVS including the $SVS all the way to the area of FF FF FF .... that follows,
then it will not work, nor will you get a boot from the mac. You need to remove it all including that first $SVS.
Again this is based upon you saying
I know how to use Hex editor to remove password after $SVS,
That leads me to believe you are leaving that $SVS untouched & remaining.
dam1inc wrote: well i read it a bunch of times, and checksum matches, and ive now wrote it a bunch of times and re-read it and compared that file a bunch of times and checksum matches but doesn't boot and from my limited experience is an indication that somethings wrong i have the 1.1 core m .
I'm just gonna pull the chip and try and program it directly, that's usually the easiest way for me i just didn't feel like doing all that but this has taking ALOT of my time
OK so we finally finished this one without desoldering chip and using ch341a + chipmunk clip. this programmer reads no problem but erasing and writing back on was a b!t@h. what we had to do is change chip model to COMMON 25*64 with charger plugged in and battery connected we attached clip, choose detect, once detected disconnect battery (charger still plugged in..then erase...confirm erase..and if u can erase then u can write np. Hope this helps someone.
