icloud location on macbook? how it works?

hello, i have an question.

when doing everything in the instruction video of the raspberry, expect the icloud information change, will it be still possible to track the macbook with just removing the $SVS but remain the icloud creditinals?

im trying to understand what in the $SVS is that is being removed.
