After I read my chip 3 times, edited the hex, and wrote back I have had a problem since.
No beep upon boot, and won't power on unless cord is plugged in, no boot keys will work.
Goes directly to blinking folder screen.
I tried to flash from the EFI repository and flatiron says repository .bin is 2bytes larger.. Before & after changing "model number" to mine..
Please advise :)

Please upload your original firmware so we can have a look. Also I'm willing to bet you didnt remove the <> from around the serial number for the one you downloaded from the repos. I do not recommend using the repos unless absolutely nessesary.

Correct I didn't replace the < >, what do I replace the < > with?
Yes I only tried downloaded firmware as last resort after writing mine several times, had the result I explained when starting this thread..
Any help is very much appreciated!

Booted up properly after writing the firmware provided, thank you!
Booting normally goes to blinking folder screen so I booted from USB OS X Install, getting 3 beeps repeating..
Tried Internet Recovery, after waiting for the download, recovery comes up asking for 4 digit system pin, please advise.

USB OS X Install was 10.6 Snow Leopard, preparing 10.11 El Capitan to USB now to see how that goes

sounds like its icloud locked
Will need to use a different SN or no SN which will lead to other problems
it also helps to reset PRAM & SMC

Being icloud locked, it has reported its location to whom ever locked it.

edit:
You could install OS x locally such as dmg from flash drive or optical drive and not connect online, then it should take the install.

Success!
I reset the NVRAM with Command-Option-P-R and immediately noticed a difference, the boot beep came back, screen was brighter, and now no more 4 digit pin lock upon Internet Recovery! Thank you for the help.
