Hi there.

I'm having trouble with a second hand laptop: the BIOS is protected with a unknown password.
I can change boot order.
But when I try to update the BIOS I am being asked the password.

I would like a SMC file (and instructions) to remove the password (HP doesn't provide this any more).
How much it that?

I'm also interested in Removing a Bios Password from an EliteBook 9470m.
