Morning all - Hello - And a Question Regarding EFI

Firstly, hello to you all. Nice little community you have here! I look forward to chiming in here and there!

I have stumbled across this while I am looking at the possibility of changing the serial number on a Mac, using similar methods to the EFI password removal/unlock.

Does anyone know if this can be done? Is the Mac serial# stored in the same chip?

I know several methods are out there for older macs, more specifically for macs with blank serials, but I am interested in very recent macs.

Any help appreciated.
