Hi....this testing is not for a full FCC re-certification, so there is not a new FCC ID issued. It's only to test for spurious emissions of the
radio. Essentially, if you integrate a WiFi module into a product, the
product as a whole must be tested for spurious emissions from the WiFi
module. I guess this is to ensure that the integration of the module
into the system has not adversely impacted its performance.
