Hello, i have two HP devices that require password clearance from BIOS using the SMC method:

- HP Elitebook 840 G3 with the following data:

SKU - Y3B70EA#ABY
SN - 5CG74517BT
BIOS - N75 VER. 01.24 01/30/2018
UUID - C88BBA0C-C397-11E7BD2F-8A0E7201C0E4

- HP Pro x2 612 G2 with the following data:
SKU - X4C20AV
SN - 5CG719163J
BIOS - P86 VER. 01.27 04/16/2019
UUID - 7D8F0118-4E49-9182-BA4C-18159F2C77CD

this one has a power on authentication issue, a glitch between the password set in Windows replicated in BIOS by Client Security Manager. It does not work euther with the passord or the pin. I don't know what happened and i need it running again of course.

What can be done and how ? many thanks !

I have a 3 month old HP Omen 15-D0xxx laptop with an unknown Admin password. I have tried another unlocker site and they just informed me that HP has blocked the UEFI unlock service (Not sure what that is about). Is your solution still available? I cannot do the Up and down arrow sequence as the machine just beeps at me and asks for the power on password. 
Can you provide any help?

I couldn't find the exact model, but did check bioses of the next HP Omen 15 models:

OMEN by HP 15-dc0000 Laptop PC series
OMEN by HP 15-dc1000 Laptop PC series
OMEN by HP 15-dh0000 Laptop PC series
OMEN X by HP 2S 15-dg0000 Laptop PC series

Seems like all of them generate a System Disabled A-code after 3 incorrect passwords, if information is correct, it can be unlocked with this A-code. I can generate a password for it (previous payment).

Sorry, the exact model number is 15-dc0096nr. This machine does NOT generate an A code and go into a lock status. It asks for a Sparekey and displays the laptop's serial number. I do not have the SpareKey and have tried using the Serial number to generate an unlock with no success.

Have you tried to remove the hard drive? Hard-drives usually don't give a code, with the exception of Dell, Samsung, other.

I have removed the drive just to test if it made a difference, it did not. The only thing I can do is try to access the BIOS and enter a wrong code 3 times, it then asks for a Sparekey which I do not have. The only option at this point is to turn off the laptop.
It makes no difference if there is a hard drive in it or not.

If there's no code after 3 incorrect passwords, then probably the only way is to read bios chip and "clean" dump.
