HP Probook 430 G2 bios eeprom lock was created by Sergio
Hi. I have HP Probook 430 G2 with win10 installed. I want to install win 7 or 8 because of some software and I can not access bios because of admin password.
I have tried everything and now I know that is in eeprom and I need help to unlock it.

Hi,
try at eBay, SMC.BIN file is about $20 to $22 USD. The other option you have is to dump bios chip, post your file and eventually someone will clear the password for you.
NOTE: One of the requirements to use SMC.bin file is that locked computer has the current date, meaning that internal battery has not being removed, otherwise file will not work. But if you can boot the operating system this shouldn't be a problem to you, as you can modify date/time.
