Hello,
I'm new to this forum but I believe I am in the right place ,
So I am locked out of my MBP EFI firmware and wondering how I could get access with the right tools, I have read the instructions (which were great by the way) but I will need some help.
Also if a kind soul is willing to sell me the hardware, doesn't have to be new lol or put together the tools for me to get this done then no problem,
I just need access
The tools you will need are available on ebay or anywhere really. Before you start ordering tools you may want to open the MBP and identify the EFI chip to determine how you are going to interface with it. e.g. Pomona SOIC 8 or the MBA Easy Flash.
Yep, so get a RasPi (any version), some F-F wires, a Pomona SOIC 8 clip (Actual Pomona, not the knock off), power supply that suites your RasPi, and an SD card to put Raspbian on.
