Raspberry Pi on 2015 ESPECIALLY A1502 is not recommended. If you modify the spispeed= parameter then it will brick your device, but even if you don't you will not be able to pull consistent reads to be able to use in the standard order of operations. Good rule of thumb - don't try using the Pi on 2015 A1502 of any kind. If you require this type of device unlock ask one of the many around here with the proper equipment and one of us will be more than happy to make sure you don't end up with an over expensive paperweight
i been learning to fix circuits watching louis rossmann on youtube
and the mbook air 2012 2559 i had been making backup of chip and died but fans work normal with right firmware and wrong fan speeds with wrong
then i found a wet spot on the LCD backlight driver chip!
another common is a few resistors going bad on the ic charging chip.. $4 parts
i ordered these chips and got me hot air station and currently in process of fix this week.
I do have an easy flasher 4.03 and tried reading the flash with the Pi. But the MD5SUM doesn't match on all the reads. What other options do I have to get the EFI password reset. The macbook air boots up and goes to the flashing folder icon. Any attempt to boot to recovery or option gets the padlock icon. I'm new to flashing EFI. Not sure what options I have. Send in the MBA to have it password remoe or possibly try the EFiDL?
I tried the suggestions above, but all the readings are still not matching the MD5SUM. Weird thing, I replaced the SSD from another MBA and it goes to the folder icon. But while attempting to do a reading, it booted to the new replaced SSD. Not sure what happened, but its booting to the OS on the different SSD. Any attempt to boot to other media or recovery brings up the padlock. I'm able to use the MBA now, so its that just the firmware password, thats locked? I should be good to use it without it being lock out of the OS again? But I do not have the option to boot to recovery or another other media type?
It sounds like you are lucky enough to have ONLY an EFI lock and not an iCloud lock. You should be fine to use, just sign into your own iCloud.
Download and install rEFInd, it's an EFI bootloader.
once that's installed, it will give you a pre-OS X boot selection screen which you can use to launch single-user mode. From single user mode you can clear the nvram and remove the EFI lock (-:
