Did you verify your read? Both md5sums and verify against the chip?

Try flashing back your original read and see if that works.

I do reflash with original dump, it doesn't start the same, i checked all the connections to the chip, and every things are connected with the mother board, the programmer i got " Revelprog IS " does still read, write and verify the chip, so i think the chip steel work, any help?
Did someone has got a working clear dump for that chip, so i can try write another dump ?

if you're using linux, take your reads... read1.bin read2.bin and read3.bin.

in a terminal type "md5sum read1.bin read2.bin read3.bin"
it should list md5 checksums for all three files, and they should all be identical. you can use 3rd party software on OS X and PC to do this also.

it seems you've got a connection or power problem and likely no good reads /-;

Perhaps you could try cleaning the ME region on the cleaned dump I gave you.

If you provide your logic board # I can try to find an internet dump for you, but we have to figure out why your read failed. It will likely have a corrupted write too

Hi tnx for your help, i did just 2 dumps and they are differents, so i think i did the reading with the clock settings on the programmer to hi, so i adjust the clock and set it to 50%, and i don't get errors, so i think the my dump it's no good to be used, then before give away, i will like to try anothe working dump, but i haven't got any, i tryed to serch on web, but i didn't find notting for my mbp, the only thing i found it's a new chip already flashed, but i don't really know if that chip will be really correct flashed for my mbp, i'm checking the hw, but i didn' found any corrupts areas, the only thing the mbp does is charge the battery and fan spin, no other life signals. if i try without the bios chip it does the same things, before whose just lock.
then i need a working clear dump, to see if it turns on again o it's a hw problem.

I very much doubt it's a hardware problem at this point. The mx25l6406e seems to respond well to high speed interface, but the winbond and mx25l6473 do not like it.

Please respond with your logic board number and I will try to locate a bios for you.

Ice.
It's the same one i can read from Qrcode in another side of the mother board

No the board model number. It should be seven numbers like 820-xxxx.

It'll likely be embossed on the PCB somewhere

I cannot locate that for free at my main resource. I will check my own repo when I get home tonight.

Have you checked the ghostlyhaks repo?

Tnx in advance.

Theres nothing wrong with replying to a mature thread. Someday somebody will walk in icecool's shoes and may stumble upon this topic.

If your fan is spinning but you don't get chime or backlight.

A good test is to plug in a USB mouse and look at the the bottom to see if it lights up. That will tell you if the BIOS is doing it's job...... It will at least help you find if you have accidentally damaged another area of the board when soldering, opening, etc.
