Removing/Deactivating Computrace

can you give more info?
where to look for computrace I assume it is in the bios dump and not kbc.

Programming mec1633L is not the solution still there is eeprom of 2 or 4 kB in side that chip that needs to be accessed via patching of rom or so than only will be able to crack the password Lock !!

I have a Lenovo X1 4th gen (20fc) with computrace enabled but no bios PW.

Can anyone help me disable/flash the bios to take computrace out?

I also have a Lenovo T460s, X1 (3rd gen), and T440s, and those do not have computrace.

So, we have all seen the video of a guy reworking a new 1633 onto a board , and then then the board comes up with blanks, yes?

May I ask for help to unlock T440?
