I need some help :)

try connecting the VCC, powering the mac off, leaving battery and magsafe connected, and attempting a read.

Hello, I tried with this but it didn't work BUT I tried something else (YES SOMETHING NEW).

When I pull out the battery from the MAC and connect the Magsafe and do flashrom -r /home/pi/efi/read1.bin -V -p linux_spi:dev=/dev/spidev0.1
I've a new result : pastebin.com/KwfnTupr

EDIT : I tried to pin/unpin the flash adapter, and it says again that he detect nothing...so the issue is probably a pin issue.

EDIT 2 : Ok on the pin on the motherboard broke by a miracle...youhou me and my luck...

i'm very confused. it should be working. double-check that all of your wires are firmly connected.. perhaps reseat them? looking at your pictures, it seems correct, but here's another simplified GPIO pinout to follow:

try connecting the VCC, powering the mac off, leaving battery and magsafe connected, and attempting a read.

please share your flashrom command and the output.

also, here is a link to instructions for an SPI self-test. it only tests MISO/MOSI, but since you tried two different rbps, i doubt that's the issue

ensure your battery is fully charged, and connected to the mac along with the magsafe charger.
remove the VCC pin from your easy flash clip, but leave the rest of the wires (including ground) connected.

power on mac with ALT key until you reach the padlock screen
close the lid, flip it over, and connect to the chip

Doesn't work

power on mac and let boot to the "this computer is disabled" screen
close the lid, flip it over, and connect to the chip

Sadly no

remove the SSD, power on the mac and boot to the [?] screen
close the lid, flip it over, and connect to the chip

I've not the pentalobe, but I'll try when I'll reveive it. Any other step ? :/

PS : I tried to do this with both Rpi2 and Rpi3 and the results are exactly the same.

you have the clip correctly connected.

ensure your battery is fully charged, and connected to the mac along with the magsafe charger.
remove the VCC pin from your easy flash clip, but leave the rest of the wires (including ground) connected.

power on mac with ALT key until you reach the padlock screen
close the lid, flip it over, and connect to the chip

or

power on mac and let boot to the "this computer is disabled" screen
close the lid, flip it over, and connect to the chip

or

remove the SSD, power on the mac and boot to the [?] screen
close the lid, flip it over, and connect to the chip

one of these configurations should work
i have just done so recently

Hello,

Try powering the Mac on to the EFI lock screen, closing the lid, and connecting to the chip then.

Nothing change :/

Try booting to iCloud lock screen, closing and connecting.

I've this, how can I do this ?

It says that the Macbook is locked for x minutes

Or, try removing ssd, powering on to (?) screen, closing lid and connecting.

Is it the top connector ? (Sorry I'm a noob with Mac)

Also experiment with removing the vcc pin

Nothing change
